Obedience Training Program

GRR is very proud of the latest addition to our volunteer base! Georgia Robinson is a professional dog trainer. She has been working with our foster dogs on a weekly basis to teach them advanced basic obedience. Her impact has been tremendous!

Georgia has been fostering Marley, a two year old Shepherd mix that has been in fostercare since he was an 8 week old puppy. Marley is severely fearful of strangers, especially men. Since he has been with Georgia, Marley has completed a group training program. Though still cautious around new people, Marley is a different dog! He has gained confidence and learned great social skills. We are very happy to report that Marley was adopted last weekend!

Georgia's newest foster is Rugby, an eight month old Mystery Mix. Rugby has already learned sit, stay, lie down, rollover and shake.
