"Baby Cakes"
This sweet girl
entered our foster program after her previous owners could no
longer care for her. She and another fostercat named "Charlee"
were adopted by a wonderful family where Baby lived for nearly a
year before passing away peacefully one night in her sleep from
old age.

"Zoey"
Johnston
Always the runt of her
litter, Zoey and her brother Simon were adopted together into
the same home. Two weeks later, after several days of
unrelenting vomiting, a vet appointment revealed that she had a
diaphragmatic/esophageal tear with other complications, most
likely the result of a congenital defect. Her adoptive family
made the difficult decision to let her pass peacefully. She has
been buried on their property around the area she loved to play.

"Greta"
Baggett
Greta lived the first
part of her life working as a Service Dog. When she was retired,
GRR placed Greta in a home with a wonderful family.
Unfortunately, early medical complications took her from them
too soon.
We're very happy to report that the Baggett family is honoring
Greta's memory by welcoming a second GRR foster, "Ally", into
their home.

"Sebastian"
All skin and bones,
Sebastian was rescued too late. He fought hard, but in the end
was too sick to recover from his short life of neglect. He
passed away warm and well loved in a GRR fosterhome.

"Lola" and "Enzo"
Despite receiving
immediate vet care after being pulled from a shelter, at four
weeks old, Lola and Enzo were too small and weak to fight off a
horrible case of coccidia. We are thankful that their
littermate "Bella" survived and is now living happily in a
wonderful home.
