Rescue and Rehab is always looking for new foster families!
Most of our foster homes only foster one or two animals at a time.
The fosters select which animals they foster, whether based on size,
breed, age, energy level, etc. GRR pays all veterinary costs
and supplies foster homes with heartworm preventative, flea/tick
control, and crates. Don't
think you have time or the ability to foster? You might be
surprised! All we expect from our foster homes is for them to
treat their foster animals like they do their own pets. We
have volunteers that can help with transporting dogs and cats to vet
appointments and adoption events. We are proud that every
single dog in our program is at the very least crate-trained and
well socialized. Most of our dogs have started housetraining
and basic obedience. Foster homes provide the love and
attention needed to mold our dogs into highly adoptable pets. Want
to give it a try? Fostering does not have to be a long-term
commitment--even fostering just a single dog is helping us to save a
life. Please
email us if you would like to learn more about the fostering
process: Interested in
