Please email us if you have a pet that you need help finding a new home for.  The more information about the pet that you supply, the most likely they are to be adopted.  Please include a photo and bio about your pet (include pet's name, breed, temperament, age, sex, likes/dislikes, training, etc).  GRR reserves the right to refuse to post any pet for any reason.

Tonka

This young lab mix wants to be furever friends!  He spent most of his life beloved by a college student who rescued him from a shelter, cared for him thru a life-threatening ordeal with parvo-virus, and then had no choice but to leave him behind when she graduated and accepted a job on the West Coast.  He's healthy now, UTD shots, neutered, housebroken, crate-trained, knows basic obedience commands.  He's a happy, affectionate, playful, big boy who loves attention; but he also seems content and well-behaved when foster mom has to leave him for 12-hour work days.    Each year he adapted easily to college student's new home, roommates, and their dogs; but he has never lived with children or cats.  Is your heart and home big enough for him?  Please e-mail foster mom at tonka448@yahoo.com

Maggie and her litter of 9 puppies.

Maggie (a young black lab mix) was found heavily pregnant, abandoned on someone's remote hunting property. Her litter of nine puppies was born at the very beginning of June and will be ready for new homes in just a few short weeks! They have already been examined by a veterinarian and are growing into healthy, well socialized babies.

The puppies each have their own profiles on our petfinder list: See them HERE!

Maggie was obviously someone's pet--she is housetrained, cratetrained, rides great in a car, very sweet disposition, and overall just a well mannered, low maintainence dog!

Please contact Cathy at 404-456-5815 or email tanner.cathy@newton.k12.ga.us

All puppies adopted!  Momma still needs a home!

Buster and Bubba are German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mixes (brothers), about 5 years old, both neutered males, house trained, good with children and cats (and other animals in general), easy going, low maintenance dogs.

These boys have recently been orphaned as their owner just passed away from cancer. Buster and Bubba have lived together they're whole five years, so while they would love to find a new home together, they're situation is fairly desperate, so please email GRR if you are interested in adopting even just one of these sweet boys.

Buster and Bubba are located in the Covington, GA area, but GRR will help provide transportation if someone is seriously interested in adopting or bringing these boys into rescue.

Adopted!
